Junior Technical Sales Engineer – Solar, BESS & Energy Systems

About the role

Kweli Energy is seeking a junior technical professional to support customers with solar, battery energy storage (BESS) and hybrid power solutions. You will handle enquiries, size residential and small‑commercial systems, conduct site surveys and prepare costed proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical enquiries and assess customer loads, existing power sources and backup needs.
• Size residential and small‑commercial solar, backup‑power and power‑stabilisation systems.
• Prepare load schedules, equipment selections and accurate bills of quantities.
• Participate in site surveys, recording installation requirements, measurements and photographs.
• Prepare quotations and proposals with clear specifications, scope, warranties and commercial terms.
• Escalate complex requirements to the engineering team with complete information.
• Follow up enquiries and offers, maintain customer records and work towards sales targets.
• Coordinate confirmed‑order handovers and explain product operation and after‑sales support.

Required profile

• A diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electronics or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience or a fresh graduate with practical internship/training exposure.
• Clear spoken and written English with confidence explaining technical matters.
• Attention to detail and proficiency with Word, Excel and email.
• Willingness to travel for surveys and customer meetings and a valid driving licence (advantageous).
