About the role
Under the supervision of the principal or another designated supervisor, the Math Teacher Assistant supports classroom instruction. The role includes preparing materials, correcting assignments, and assisting with a small‑group intervention program called Bridges.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and organize class materials and resources.
- Correct and record student assignments and assessments.
- Support the Bridges small‑group math intervention program.
Required profile
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Two years of post‑secondary education (48 semester hours), an associate’s degree, or passing a state‑approved Para‑Professional test.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Secretarial or clerical experience, including computer operation.
Required skills
- Computer operation.
