About the role

Join the Mission Aviation Services team in Entebbe, Uganda, as a Ministry Pilot. You will operate Cessna C208B Caravan and DC‑3 aircraft to support humanitarian and ministry activities across Eastern Africa, living out the organization’s faith‑driven mission.

Key responsibilities

• Operate C208B Caravan and DC‑3 aircraft safely and efficiently for ministry flights.
• Conduct comprehensive flight planning, weather and route analysis, and weight‑and‑balance calculations.
• Perform pre‑flight, post‑flight, and routine inspections to ensure airworthiness and compliance with aviation regulations.
• Manage aircraft loading, passenger and cargo handling, and maintain cabin and restroom sanitation.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel and the FAA for hangar, property, and aircraft upkeep.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned to support mission objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2,500 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours in turboprop or turbojet aircraft.
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate ratings.
• Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to the organization’s statement of faith.
