About the role
The University needs a reliable Reservoir Attendant to ensure the water supply system runs smoothly across the campus. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in water management, tank maintenance and basic generator operation.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor water levels in the reservoir and determine pumping requirements to maintain distribution levels across the university.
- Clean water tanks, removing algae and other physical impurities.
- Operate the university generator to power water pumps and ensure continuous supply.
- Report any mechanical faults on the pump or generator to the supervisor promptly.
- Carry out any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Certificate in plumbing or an equivalent certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
- No prior experience required; willingness to learn on the job.
