Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will join Bellazuri Cosmetics’ sales team to drive growth of its affordable, locally‑made beauty products across Kampala. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams, visiting retailers, salons and distributors to build relationships and increase market coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver client presentations throughout the sales cycle.
• Identify, onboard and manage new customers such as retailers, salons and distributors.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular visits and follow‑ups.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and accurate account management.
• Conduct field visits to monitor market activity, product performance and stock levels.
• Execute route plans, keep the customer database up‑to‑date and coordinate replenishment with distributors.
• Collect and report market intelligence on competitors and emerging trends.
• Submit daily/weekly sales and field activity reports to the Sales Director.
• Travel within the assigned territory to expand market visibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in FMCG, cosmetics or beauty.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or related field (Diploma accepted with solid experience).
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in field sales, retail distribution and account management across modern and general trade channels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Well‑groomed, confident and able to represent a premium beauty brand professionally.
• Fluent in English and local languages.
