Technical Operator – Packaging Line

About the role

The Technical Operator works on a fast‑paced packaging line that includes nine process machines such as depalletiser, filler, pasteuriser and labeler. Operating on a 12‑hour night shift, the role ensures safe, efficient production while meeting strict quality and waste‑reduction targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate any packaging line machine according to manufacturer SOPs, maintaining an OEE of at least 85%.
• Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance to achieve plant reliability of around 95%.
• Conduct basic quality checks, record results, and trigger corrective actions to reach a quality index of 98%.
• Monitor and keep process and component waste below defined targets.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed, aiming for zero injuries.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to interns, trainees and new hires.

Required profile

• Ordinary diploma in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation engineering.
• Ability to work night shifts and coordinate with logistics and supply‑chain teams.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement, time management and teamwork.
