Technology Applications Teacher (Grades 9-12)

About the role

Provide students in grades 9‑12 with engaging technology applications instruction, fostering intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. The teacher designs learning activities that develop competencies needed for success in society.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the district curriculum and Texas Education Agency guidelines, incorporating accommodations for diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning, adapt instruction, and collaborate with special‑education teachers to modify curricula per Individual Education Plans.
• Manage classroom behavior, create a supportive learning environment, and supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Communicate regularly with parents, principals and colleagues, and participate in staff development and school committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements for the subject and grade level.
• Knowledge of the assigned subject matter, curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
