Child Protection Project Manager

About the role

The Child Protection Project Manager will lead the implementation of the DK Media child protection project in Rhino Camp and Imvepi refugee settlements. Reporting to the Country Protection Manager, the role ensures high‑quality protection interventions for refugees and host communities while coordinating with government, UN agencies, partners and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and monitor project activities in line with DRC Project Cycle Management and donor requirements.
• Ensure quality delivery of child protection prevention, case management, alternative care for unaccompanied and separated children, positive parenting and adolescent life‑skills programmes.
• Prepare timely narrative and financial reports, lead donor reporting and update project management tools.
• Develop operational tools and training modules for staff, community‑based organisations and para‑social workers.
• Lead project management meetings, track performance, monitor budgets and ensure compliance with SOPs and inter‑agency guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the West Nile refugee response context.
• Proven experience in managing child protection programmes in humanitarian settings.
• Ability to collaborate with government authorities, UN agencies, implementing partners and community stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational, reporting and analytical skills.
