Financial Inclusion Officer – Fort Portal

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking a motivated Financial Inclusion Officer to drive sales, marketing and financial literacy activities in the Fort Portal catchment area. The role involves community outreach, group training and supporting customers to access FINCA’s self‑managed group lending products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop monthly sales and marketing plans for targeted locations.
• Organise and deliver three‑day training sessions for potential group lending customers.
• Provide financial literacy training and guide groups on product methodology, leadership selection and governance.
• Monitor group readiness for FINCA financial services and ensure proper record‑keeping.
• Execute monthly action work plans and report weekly progress to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
