Financial Inclusion Officer – Hoima

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking a motivated Financial Inclusion Officer to drive sales, marketing and financial‑literacy activities in the Hoima region. The role combines field outreach, group training and close collaboration with the Branch Manager to expand access to micro‑finance services.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create monthly sales and marketing plans with the Branch Manager for identified catchment areas.
• Organise and deliver community sales drives, focus groups, door‑to‑door visits and other outreach activities.
• Design and facilitate three‑day training sessions for potential group‑lending customers.
• Provide financial‑literacy training, explain FINCA’s self‑managed group product, and guide groups on leadership and governance.
• Monitor group readiness, record‑keeping and cohesion during trainings.
• Implement monthly action plans and submit weekly progress reports to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operational area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Excellent sales, marketing and customer‑service skills.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, time‑management and communication abilities.
