Financial Inclusion Officer – Koboko

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking a motivated Financial Inclusion Officer to promote its group lending products in the Koboko area. The role involves planning and executing sales and financial‑literacy activities, working closely with the Branch Manager and local communities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop monthly sales and marketing plans for target catchment areas.
• Organise and deliver monthly three‑pack training sessions for potential group‑lending customers.
• Conduct financial‑literacy training, explain the Self‑Managed Group Product methodology, and guide groups in selecting leaders and governance structures.
• Emphasise group cohesion, record‑keeping, and readiness assessment for FINCA financial services.
• Implement agreed work‑plan actions each month and provide weekly feedback to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle.
• Strong sales and marketing aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
• Good problem‑solving, accuracy, time‑management, and teamwork abilities.
