Financial Inclusion Officer – Masaka

About the role

FINCA Uganda is seeking dynamic individuals to join the team as Financial Inclusion Officers in Masaka. The role focuses on expanding access to micro‑finance services for underserved communities by conducting outreach, training and sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and execute monthly sales and marketing plans targeting identified catchment areas.
• Organise and deliver group training sessions on FINCA’s self‑managed group lending product, covering financial literacy, group governance and record‑keeping.
• Conduct community sales drives, focus‑group discussions and door‑to‑door outreach to generate new client leads.
• Assess the readiness of groups to adopt FINCA financial services and guide them through product enrollment.
• Provide weekly progress reports to the Branch Manager and maintain communication with the Product Associate.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language spoken in the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation.
