Financial Inclusion Officer – Masindi

About the role

The Financial Inclusion Officer will work closely with the Branch Manager to expand FINCA Uganda’s group lending services in Masindi and surrounding catchment areas. The role combines community outreach, sales, training and customer service to achieve monthly targets and promote financial literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑create monthly sales and marketing plans with the Branch Manager, including community drives, focus groups and door‑to‑door activities.
• Design and deliver three‑pack training sessions for potential group‑lending customers, covering product methodology and group governance.
• Provide financial literacy training, guide groups in leader selection, and ensure proper record‑keeping.
• Assess group readiness for FINCA financial services and monitor progress against action plans.
• Report weekly progress to the Branch Manager and maintain communication with the Product Associate.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Fluency in English and the local language of the operating area.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle for field visits.
• Strong sales, marketing and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent customer service, problem‑solving, accuracy, time‑management and communication skills.
