Academic Coordinator - Montessori

About the role

The Academic Coordinator will lead and maintain the academic quality of a Montessori preschool, ensuring excellent teaching, curriculum implementation, and child development. This role supports teachers, families, and the school leadership in delivering a high‑standard learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and review the Montessori curriculum and lesson plans.
• Observe, coach, and train teachers; conduct staff development sessions.
• Monitor classroom standards, conduct audits, and ensure safe, organized learning spaces.
• Track children’s progress, review assessments, and provide additional guidance when needed.
• Meet with parents, support conferences, and address academic concerns.
• Maintain academic records, ensure compliance, and prepare reports.
• Manage classroom resources and recommend new materials.
• Perform daily classroom visits, weekly inspections, and monthly teacher evaluations and resource reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in Montessori education preferred.
• Excellent command of English.
