About the role
On behalf of our client, a reputable paints manufacturer in Uganda is seeking a talented Accountant to join its finance team. The role involves regular accounting, operations and client contact to support business growth. If you have zeal and passion for finance, you are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing books of accounts
- Cost accounting and production costing
- Financial management and reconciliations
- Filing tax returns
- Ensuring timely management accounts
- Maintaining proper bookkeeping
- Providing management advisory
- Internal audit activities
Required profile
- Personal accountability and strong work ethics
- Professional interaction with suppliers and clients
- Positive “can‑do” attitude
Required skills
- Great interpersonal communication
