C++ Open Source Contributor (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled C++ Open Source Contributor to work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves delivering production‑quality code, conducting thorough reviews, and maintaining documentation for open‑source repositories that support our customer’s projects.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review, and document production‑grade code for relevant open‑source projects.
• Design, implement, and optimise complex algorithms and system components using C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript or Rust.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and technical challenges in existing codebases.
• Collaborate with other contributors and stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with project goals and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Participate in code discussions, providing constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.

Required profile

• Experience working on large‑scale, distributed codebases.
• Proven track record of rigorous code reviews and contribution to software best practices.
• Familiarity with modern AI or machine learning systems is a plus.
