Consultant – Drafting & Editing Five-Year CPD Report (Remote)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a remote consultant to lead the drafting and editing of the Five‑Year 2021‑2025 Country Programme Document (CPD) report for Uganda. The consultant will synthesize five years of COAR reports into a compelling advocacy document that showcases results, partnerships, and the impact of flexible donor funding.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a literature review of COAR reports (2021‑2025) and the CPD.
• Develop and gain consensus on the report outline in collaboration with the Deputy Representative.
• Map cumulative high‑level results, partnerships, lessons learned and donor contributions.
• Draft the summative five‑year CPD report and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the internal graphic designer to produce the final published report.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in mass communication, journalism, development policy, international relations or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in clear, focused writing and report production.
• Demonstrated ability to edit and design UNICEF Country Office reports (preferred).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with UNICEF Writing Style.
• Strong command of English grammar and punctuation.
• Expertise in report drafting, editing and literature review.
