Content Creator – Social Media

About the role

Kingdom Trading Limited is seeking a creative and energetic Content Creator to generate engaging short‑form video content for Uncle Bill’s, its household and consumer products brand. The role focuses on TikTok, Instagram Reels and other digital platforms to build awareness and drive demand across Uganda.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, product demonstrations, lifestyle clips and other short‑form content.
• Develop creative concepts that turn everyday Uncle Bill’s products into interesting, useful and shareable stories.
• Shoot, edit and produce content using a smartphone, camera and appropriate editing tools.
• Identify products with strong content potential and turn their features into compelling narratives.
• Produce how‑to videos, product hacks, comparisons, challenges, trends and customer‑focused content.
• Research emerging trends on TikTok, Instagram and other platforms and adapt them for Uncle Bill’s.
• Collaborate with customers, staff, influencers and creators to generate authentic user‑generated‑style content.
• Support new product launches, promotions and retail campaigns with creative assets.
• Maintain a consistent content pipeline and calendar.
• Track performance metrics such as views, watch time, shares and comments to optimise future content.

Required profile

• Proven ability to create engaging short‑form video content.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and current social‑media trends.
• Good smartphone photography and videography skills.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and directing others when needed.
• Ability to work quickly and consistently produce content without waiting for perfect conditions.
• Familiarity with Ugandan audiences, popular culture and what captures attention.
• Experience in consumer, retail, FMCG or lifestyle brands is a plus.
