About the role
The Credit Analyst will evaluate loan applications, assess repayment capacity, and determine creditworthiness of customers. This role supports the growth of Donswift's loan portfolio while ensuring risk is properly managed.
Key responsibilities
- Assess loan applications and conduct credit analysis to determine repayment capacity and credit worthiness.
- Prepare credit appraisal reports with recommendations, risk assessments, and proposed loan structures.
- Monitor loan portfolio performance and identify emerging risks, arrears, and early warning signals.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in credit underwriting, micro‑finance, portfolio management or credit risk management.
- Good understanding of the Ugandan lending or micro‑finance market.
