Electrical Commissioning Supervisor

About the role

The Electrical Commissioning Supervisor will lead the commissioning of electrical systems on the EACOP pipeline project, coordinating contractors and local teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution. The role is rotational across Tanzania and Uganda and starts as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site electrical commissioning activities and monitor contractor performance.
• Review commissioning dossiers, test procedures, and technical documentation.
• Witness FAT, SAT, loop checks, and functional testing; support energisation activities.
• Manage interfaces with construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Enforce HSE standards, participate in toolbox talks, and promote safety culture.
• Report progress, technical issues, and close out punch‑list items.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical commissioning experience in Oil & Gas or large EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems and electrical protection.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
