Team Leader – Packaging Shift

About the role

Lead the shift‑based packaging team to execute the production plan, ensuring performance targets are met while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency, people development and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and comply with safety, health and environmental legislation.
• Optimize production performance and processes, managing the shift in line with VPO tools and principles to achieve the production plan within cost limits.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance, autonomous operations and monitor production processes to stay within budget.
• Interpret and implement the shift’s production plan, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Build and foster relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Facilitate effective team dynamics, implement performance management and OPR processes, and communicate effectively.
• Administer employment conditions, apply admin systems, and contribute to team development.
• Prepare, control and manage budgets, including monthly financial short‑interval control.
• Develop employees, ensure healthy industrial relations, and apply people policies and practices.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive & Power or Electrical engineering.
• Completion of an AB InBev Packaging Traineeship.
• Experience managing and running a high‑speed packaging line (advantageous).
• Proven performance track record with a disciplined work ethic and problem‑solving passion.
