About the role

This freelance gig involves building a diverse facial image dataset for machine‑learning research. You will capture current neutral selfies, directed head‑pose photos, and historical images to help improve facial‑recognition models.

Key responsibilities

• Take clean, frontal neutral selfies with natural variation in lighting, background and accessories.
• Capture additional selfies following assigned head‑pose directions to introduce pose diversity.
• Gather older photos from personal galleries to represent natural aging.
• Submit at least 20 valid images, aiming for 30 to account for quality‑control filtering.
• Follow the project’s automated and manual QC guidelines to ensure image acceptance.

Required profile

• No specific education required; any adult resident of Kampala can apply.
• Access to a smartphone with a functional camera.
• Ability to upload image files and follow simple submission instructions.
