Facility Digitization Coordinator – DART Project

About the role

The Facility Digitization Coordinator will lead the implementation of digital health solutions at the facility level for the DART project in Uganda. Working closely with the Ministry of Health and Palladium teams, you will ensure that health facilities are ready for electronic medical record (EMR) deployment and that ICT infrastructure meets project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and prepare health facilities for digital transformation, including site readiness and infrastructure audits.
• Deploy and configure ICT hardware and network components required for EMR systems.
• Coordinate EMR implementation, ensuring integration with national data warehouses and health information exchange platforms.
• Support data‑center design, cybersecurity measures, and responsible AI adoption within health facilities.
• Provide technical guidance to local teams and facilitate workforce certification on digital health tools.
• Monitor progress, report performance metrics, and adjust plans to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 60 months of relevant experience.
• Proven background in health‑sector digitization, ICT infrastructure, or related fields.
• Experience working with government health ministries or large‑scale public‑health projects.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
