Founder's Executive Assistant (Growth Track to Operations Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to act as the founder’s trusted representative in Uganda. This position goes beyond traditional admin duties, offering a fast‑track path to an Operations Manager role for a candidate who thrives on building and scaling businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the founder in Kampala, attend meetings, and provide clear written, photo and video updates.
• Coordinate and follow up on the founder’s projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
• Identify new business opportunities, meet suppliers, negotiate prices and prepare market analyses.
• Oversee daily operations, recruit and supervise staff, monitor timelines and budgets, and inspect work before payment.
• Prepare reports, presentations, manage schedules, and handle confidential information with professionalism.

• Proactive problem‑solver who can work independently and adapt quickly.
• Confident interacting with professionals at all levels.
• Honest, trustworthy, self‑motivated and calm under pressure.
