Graphic Designer – Consultancy for Migration Project

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Graphic Designer on a consultancy basis to support the BRMM 2026–2027 project in Uganda. The role focuses on creating user‑friendly orientation and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials that guide migrant workers through pre‑employment, post‑arrival and pre‑return phases.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑quality orientation guides, handbooks and IEC materials aligned with project standards.
• Develop standardized visual layouts that are clear, accessible, and culturally appropriate for both origin and destination audiences.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to validate content and ensure materials meet technical and protective objectives.
• Pilot and refine designs based on feedback from field testing in Uganda and partner countries.
• Maintain consistency with IOM branding and communication guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably on consultancy or contract assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to produce IEC or educational materials for diverse audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to work under project timelines.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and validation processes.
