HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will lead the HR agenda across East African Breweries PLC, focusing on talent management and organisational effectiveness to support the company’s strategic growth. Working closely with business leaders, the role will design and implement initiatives that attract, develop, engage, and retain high‑calibre talent while strengthening leadership capability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute talent attraction, acquisition, and onboarding strategies.
• Coordinate succession planning and talent pipelines to meet current and future business needs.
• Drive learning and development programmes, performance management, and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies and HR practices to enhance productivity.
• Provide strategic HR partnership to business functions, aligning people strategies with global standards.
• Monitor and reduce key talent attrition, improve employee relations, and minimise business disruption.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR initiatives in a multi‑national, multi‑currency environment.
• Strong ability to collaborate with senior business leaders and influence organisational change.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Excellent understanding of regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements in East Africa.
