Lead Teacher - Infant

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking an enthusiastic Infant Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, joyful environment for our youngest learners. You will lead a classroom of infants, fostering development through play, language, and safe exploration while partnering closely with families.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a daily schedule that balances quiet time, active play, and motor‑skill activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop age‑appropriate curriculum and learning experiences.
• Communicate daily updates and milestones to parents, building strong home‑school connections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Model positive social behaviors and support each child’s emotional growth.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
• Meets all state preschool lead teacher requirements.
• Experience as an infant teacher, preferably with prior lead‑teacher responsibilities.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
