About the role

Prudential Uganda is seeking a motivated Life Insurance Agent to join its sales team in Kampala. The position is full‑time with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to split your time between the office and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients in the Kampala area.
• Explain Prudential’s life insurance and savings products, tailoring recommendations to each client’s needs.
• Conduct client meetings, assess financial requirements, and prepare detailed proposals.
• Follow up on applications, ensure timely policy issuance, and support renewals or policy changes.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with policyholders, responding to inquiries and providing continuous service.
• Collaborate with the Prudential Uganda team to achieve sales targets while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Strong background in insurance sales or brokerage, with a proven ability to generate new business.
• Solid understanding of life insurance products and basic financial planning concepts.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Relevant academic background in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between office and remote work.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and compliance awareness.
