Loans Officer – Multiple Openings

About the role

The Loans Officer will market, appraise, onboard, monitor and recover loans for MN HITTA Financial Services. The role focuses on growing a sustainable loan portfolio while maintaining high quality and compliance with credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Market all HITTA loan products to potential clients and mobilize viable customers within assigned areas.
• Conduct thorough credit appraisals, prepare detailed loan applications and ensure proper documentation before disbursement.
• Monitor loan utilization and performance, follow up on repayments and implement recovery strategies for delinquent accounts.
• Organize client sensitisation meetings and financial‑literacy engagements.
• Submit accurate daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and portfolio sustainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Microfinance, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field.
• At least one year of experience in micro‑finance, lending or field‑based credit operations (preferred).
• Fluency in English and at least one local language, high integrity and professional conduct.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and travel extensively in the field.
