Marketing Officer – Renewable Energy Solutions

About the role

The Marketing Officer will lead the promotion of Tulima Solar’s financed solar solutions for rural entrepreneurs. Working full‑time, you will create and manage content across social media and other channels, support the sales team with marketing collateral, and monitor campaign performance to boost brand awareness and product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media and digital marketing campaigns targeting rural communities.
• Create engaging content (posts, videos, newsletters) that highlights the benefits of financed solar systems.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to produce marketing materials and sales support tools.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitor activities.
• Track, analyze, and report on campaign metrics to optimize performance.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to meet deadlines.
