About the role
CIFOR is seeking a Nutrition Consultant to provide expert advice and support on nutrition‑related aspects of agroforestry projects. The consultant will develop nutrition guidelines, contribute to research, and help integrate nutritional considerations into forestry initiatives. This position is based in Kampala and involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
Required profile
- Hold a relevant degree in nutrition, food science, agriculture or a related field.
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional international language(s) are an advantage.
- Experience working in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams, preferably within a non‑profit organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to sharing information and continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to work in a cooperative atmosphere that values constructive evaluation and learning.
