Preschool Teacher Assistant – Early Childhood Support

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to join a vibrant early‑learning classroom. You will work under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, helping to create a safe, nurturing environment where young children can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily classroom activities and the implementation of Cadence’s research‑based curriculum.
• Greet children and families, building welcoming and professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior plans.
• Help plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated child behaviors according to policy.
• Maintain compliance with safety, licensing, and Cadence Education policies.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and leadership.
• Commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
• Willingness to attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
