Product Manager - AI (AI/ML & MLOps)

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Product Manager focused on AI, machine learning and MLOps to drive the full product development lifecycle. The role is remote within the EMEA time zone and involves close collaboration with engineering, design, marketing and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle, set priorities and goals for AI/ML and MLOps offerings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, design, marketing and sales to align on priorities and ensure successful execution.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends and gather customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates and key decisions to stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Oversee usability testing, analyse user feedback and iterate to improve the user experience.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university level.
• Strong interest in open source, Linux and the broader open‑source community.
• Curiosity, continuous learning habit and a strong sense of ownership.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to four times a year.
