Proposal Writer & Resource Mobilisation Trainee

About the role

Techbuzz Hub is looking for a motivated trainee to support proposal writing and resource mobilisation activities. This full‑time position is based in Kampala and forms part of the Graduate Professionals Apprenticeship Program (GPAP), offering hands‑on experience in fundraising and technical writing.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit and submit proposals and RFP responses for funding opportunities.
• Conduct research to identify potential business and work opportunities.
• Articulate problems, gaps and opportunities to shape project design.
• Develop monitoring and evaluation tools such as logic models, theories of change and log‑frames.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure proposal quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Business, Communications or a related field.
• Mid‑level experience (approximately 24 months) in proposal management or related activities.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Interest in entrepreneurship, technology and capacity‑building initiatives.
