Remote Script Writer – Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a creative, detail‑oriented Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television spots and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready scripts that align with our brand voice and audience expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Partner with directors, producers and creative staff to brainstorm story ideas, themes and character development.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue, manage pacing and structure engaging narrative beats.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback and revise scripts accordingly.
• Maintain industry‑standard formatting and continuity across all deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict production deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film or a related field (preferred).
• 3‑5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with an understanding of pacing, structure and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to pitch concepts and accept constructive criticism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of produced scripts.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and project requirements.
