Sales Agent – Fortportal

About the role

Majibu Africa is looking for a proactive Sales Agent to join its Fortportal team in Kamwokya, Uganda. You will be the front‑line representative, converting walk‑in clients and daily leads into satisfied customers while supporting them through the application process.

Key responsibilities

• Convert walk‑in clients and follow up on daily leads to close sales.
• Conduct client consultations, explain product features, payment options and assist with documentation.
• Promote product benefits, handle objections and aim to increase conversion rates.
• Maintain professional client interactions and identify repeat customers for new offers.
• Educate customers on how performance influences future discounts and deals.
• Represent the company positively within partner shops and build strong relationships with shop staff.
• Act as liaison between partner shops and company management, sharing feedback and suggesting improvements.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience with at least 24 months in sales or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to guide clients through application procedures.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a track record of handling objections and closing sales.
