Sales and Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Associate is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting agency sales and marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Present agency services and marketing solutions.
• Support development and execution of sales and marketing campaigns.
• Engage with clients in person and via digital channels.
• Coordinate with internal creative and account teams.
• Track performance metrics and follow up on leads.
• Provide product and service information and address client inquiries.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Solid sales and marketing knowledge.
• Experience in training or coaching clients or team members.
• Basic understanding of advertising and digital‑marketing concepts.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage time effectively and meet targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM tools.
