Sales Team Leader – Insurance

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Team Leader to manage its sales force in Kampala. You will guide a group of sales representatives, develop and execute effective sales strategies, and ensure the team consistently meets its revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the sales team and provide coaching and training.
• Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives.
• Maintain and strengthen customer relationships to support business growth.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with the Insurance Agency Manager to align team efforts with overall goals.

Required profile

• Strong team‑management and leadership abilities.
• Proven sales expertise with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Solid analytical capability for interpreting performance data.
• Previous experience in the insurance sector is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
