Security Guard

About the role

Wamuco Motors Limited is looking for a diligent Security Guard to protect its workshop, assets, customers and staff. The role involves monitoring surveillance equipment, managing entry and exit of people and goods, and ensuring a safe environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and customers, answer location queries and guide them within the workshop.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, security lights and other security equipment.
• Conduct regular security and risk audits, report incidents and suggest corrective actions.
• Verify and authorize movement of assets, prepare gate passes and confirm payment status before release.
• Assist investigations into fraud or other crimes and issue security advisories.
• Collaborate with external security agencies and ensure compliance with company policies and data‑protection regulations.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong observational skills and ability to interact courteously with visitors and staff.
• Attention to detail for verifying asset movements and gate‑pass procedures.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Required skills

• Operation of surveillance and security monitoring systems.
• Basic knowledge of security equipment maintenance (e.g., security lights).
• Gate‑pass processing and asset verification procedures.
