Security Supervisor – Ensure Safety & Asset Protection

About the role

The Security Supervisor will lead the security team at Uganda Tea Corporation Limited, ensuring a safe environment for personnel, assets and facilities. Reporting directly to the Security Manager, you will coordinate daily operations, manage risks and act as the primary liaison between security staff and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily security operations, patrols and emergency response.
• Identify, assess and mitigate potential security risks.
• Conduct routine inspections of guard posts, estate boundaries and security equipment.
• Manage access control, screen visitors and enforce entry‑exit procedures.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Train security personnel on safety regulations, emergency protocols and equipment use.
• Liaise with law‑enforcement agencies and other external partners.
• Prepare daily, weekly and incident‑specific reports for management.

Required profile

• Reports to the Security Manager.
• Minimum of 1 month experience in a security or supervisory role.
• Strong ability to lead a team and enforce security policies.
• Good communication skills for reporting and coordination.
