About the role
The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) is launching its 2025 Internship Programme, offering 256 paid positions for a three‑month period from July to September 2025. Interns will be placed across 13 functional areas, with the largest allocation of 100 spots in Domestic Taxes, followed by 35 positions in Customs and 26 in Administration. Additional openings include 12 roles each in Information Technology & Innovation and Intelligence & Investigations, 10 in Finance and Procurement, 8 in Internal Audit, Human Resources and the Tax Academy, 6 in Strategy & Risk Management, and 4 in Performance Management. Applications open on 14 May 2025 and close on 20 May 2025. Candidates must submit their applications online through the official URA careers portal. The programme provides hands‑on experience in tax administration, customs operations, finance, IT, audit, HR and other key public‑sector functions.
