Warehouse Manager – Oversee Operations & Team

About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Kampala. The role involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring efficient inventory flow, and developing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage overall warehouse operations and planning.
• Establish, train, and performance‑manage the warehouse team, fostering talent development.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure consistency between physical stock and system data.
• Develop, implement, and continuously optimise warehouse processes.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and effective asset management.
• Achieve team performance targets and monitor key metrics.
• Handle emergency situations and resolve operational anomalies promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
• At least 4 years of experience in warehouse management.
• Strong planning, risk assessment, problem‑solving, and cross‑departmental communication abilities.
• Highly responsible, meticulous, and rigorous with excellent execution skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
• Extensive experience in inventory management and optimisation of inventory systems.
• Process optimisation and continuous improvement expertise.
