Checker Operator – Warehouse & Quality Control

About the role

The Checker Operator will support Nile Breweries’ warehouse and distribution operations by safely operating forklift equipment, handling loading and unloading activities, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role is essential for ensuring product quality, safety compliance, and efficient material movement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain forklift equipment, completing pre‑operation inspections each shift.
• Load and unload products according to approved procedures, verifying quantities against documentation.
• Perform stock rotation, conduct packaging quality checks, and report any damaged or defective items.
• Participate in shift handovers, conduct accurate stock counts, and support inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, wear required PPE, and follow safe stacking practices.
• Complete fuel consumption records, inspection reports, and operational documentation on time.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn forklift operation.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Physical stamina to handle loading, unloading, and material movement.
