2026-27 Spanish Teacher (Dual Credit)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Spanish teacher to deliver dual‑credit courses for the 2026‑27 academic year. The position involves implementing both AISD high‑school curricula and Tarrant County College dual‑credit programs, supporting student success in higher education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver AISD high‑school Spanish curriculum and Tarrant County College dual‑credit syllabus.
• Prepare students for TSI, SAT, and ACT examinations.
• Design lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and integrate technology.
• Collaborate with special‑education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers, and maintain a safe, productive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Spanish (or equivalent graduate coursework) from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements.
• Prior experience teaching dual‑credit or college‑credit courses (preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of AVID, Pre‑AP, and AP instructional strategies.
• Proficiency in integrating classroom technology to enhance learning.
