Job description

Vashi Impact Group (VIG) is looking for a capable, proactive, and trustworthy Accountant to support accounting, financial management, taxation, payroll, and statutory compliance across its Uganda operations.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline
At least 2 years’ accounting experience in Uganda
Strong practical knowledge of Ugandan tax and statutory requirements
Hands‑on experience working with URA and URSB
Knowledge of VAT, PAYE, Withholding Tax, NSSF, and corporate compliance
Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports
Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills
