Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

Twyford Impex (U) Ltd is looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage billing, invoicing, reconciliation and collections for its transport and logistics operations. The role ensures accurate revenue recognition, timely cash flow and proper cost allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and manage customer and transport‑related invoices according to approved freight rates.
• Verify freight charges, transport receipts and delivery documents for accuracy.
• Perform carrier and customer reconciliations and maintain reconciliation statements in TMS/ERP systems.
• Upload and organise supporting documents such as receipts, invoices, cess fees and abnormal charges.
• Document deductions with clear references and monitor accounts receivable aging.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support payment applications to correct cost centres.
• Prepare periodic AR reports for management and maintain records for audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Transport Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, logistics accounting or transport finance.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics or transport environments is a plus.
• Strong numerical accuracy, high integrity and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday in an operational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with accounting/analysis systems.
• Familiarity with TMS and ERP systems for reconciliation and reporting.
