About the role
The University in Uganda is seeking qualified candidates for academic positions in Electrical Engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. The role involves teaching, research and academic service within a multicultural environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Electrical Engineering courses.
- Develop course materials, assignments and examinations.
- Conduct research and contribute to academic publications.
- Supervise student projects, dissertations and research work.
- Participate in departmental and university academic activities.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, appropriate to the academic rank.
- Relevant university teaching and/or industry experience.
- Strong programming, research and academic skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.
