About the role
Ramosmax Automotive Care is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join their workshop team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of diesel and petrol vehicles, ensuring high‑quality service for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical and electrical faults on diesel and petrol engines.
- Use basic automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop tools to identify issues.
- Inspect vehicles, explain required repairs to customers, and perform the repairs to a high standard.
Required profile
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent training in Automotive Mechanics or Automotive Engineering.
- At least 24 months of practical experience as an automotive mechanic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Honest, dependable, and responsible with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driving permit is an advantage.
Required skills
- Knowledge of diesel and petrol engine systems.
- Mechanical fault diagnosis.
- Electrical fault diagnosis.
- Use of automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Proficiency with workshop tools.
