Baker

About the role

The Baker will work in the bakery section to produce a variety of breads and baked goods while delivering friendly customer service. You will follow standard operating procedures and hygiene standards to ensure high‑quality products and a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dough, mix ingredients and bake breads and other products according to the production sheet.
• Place finished items on the display counter following layout guidelines.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, promote sales and inform them about current promotions.
• Maintain strict health, sanitation and safety practices, cleaning equipment and work areas regularly.
• Dispose of food waste correctly and keep freezers and chillers tidy.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency in reading, writing and interpreting English.
• Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a bakery or similar food‑service role.
• Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and pay close attention to detail.
