About the role
We are looking for a skilled Baker to join our bakery team in Kampala. You will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods that meet our high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and bake cakes, pastries and other baked products according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Decorate cakes and ensure all finished items meet the bakery’s quality and visual standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of all bakery equipment and work areas.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
Required profile
- Certificate, Diploma or relevant training in Bakery and Pastry or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a baker in a bakery, hotel, restaurant or similar setting.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, food safety and hygiene practices.
